Dr Jennifer Baretto MBBS, DTMH, MRCGP (Merit)
Dr Baretto is originally from London where she trained at St Georges Hospital Medical School in Tooting, South London. After qualifying in 1987, Jennifer commenced her GP training in London and received the diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians in 1991. At that time London life was all that she had ever experienced, but being married to a hospital doctor has meant frequent moves so eventually we moved away, gradually migrating northwards. Dr Baretto had some time away from work whilst bringing up a family, but is glad to back as she loves her work as a GP.
Hobbies include tennis, karate and music and looks forward to exploring the local countryside on bike and by foot. She is very happy to be now finally settled in West Yorkshire and the local people have been especially welcoming. She feels that this has been particularly the case at Church View Surgery, where she is enjoying being a member of the team.
