COVID Vaccinations - information

We are currently offering covid vaccinations to those at greatest risk first, in line with JCVI and NHS recommendations.  We are focussing on vaccinating people as quickly as possible, but we are not always able to confirm where patients are on the list, or when you are likley to be contacted.

When it is your turn you will be invited to make an appointment, either by letter through the NHS central service or by text from the practice booking system. Those without mobiles we will contact by phone. We realise people are anxious about the vaccine, but please do not ring the practice and just wait until it is you turn.

Please do not be worried if you or a family member has not heard anything so far, or you know others who have had the vaccination already, this does not mean you have a lower priority, it will take time to get through everybody due to our practice age list size.

We are currently staring to invite cohort 6, but due to reduced vaccine supplies over the last few weeks this will take time to get though everybody.

Coronavirus

During the current Corona Virus pandemic we would like to inform our patients that:

  • We are offering telephone or video appointments where possible to reduce face to face contact at the surgery
  • Where appointments in person are needed a face masks must be worn at all times (children exempt)
  • If you have a fever, a new persistent cough, or loss of sense of taste or smell you should arrange for a Corona virus test by calling 119 or online here:
