The GP Partners

DR CAROLYN TOOGOOD

MB ChB, DRCOG, MRCGP

Dr Toogood is originally from Belfast but qualified from Birmingham University in 1988. She has a particular interest in mental health, paediatrics and women’s health. Dr Toogood is the Senior Partner.

DR VICTORIA HANCE

BSc (Hons), MBBS, DRCOG, DFFP, MRCGP, PGCME, Dip (Diabetes)

Dr Hance qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2000 and she joined the practice in 2015. She has a special interest in women’s health, contraception, respiratory medicine and learning disabilities. Dr Hance is one of the partners

DR FRANCIS EYRE

MB ChB, BSc, MRCGP

Dr Eyre qualified from Leeds in 1994. He has a specialist interest in musculoskeletal medicine. Dr Eyre is one of the Partners.

DR DERI TRIGG

Dr Trigg graduated from University College London in 2008. He worked in London as a GP until joining the practice as a partner in 2020. His special interests include paediatrics, mental health and acute medicine. Dr Trigg is one of the Partners.

DR KATE FEARNLEY

MBChB BSc (Hons) MRCP MRCGP Dip ENT

Dr Fearnley graduated from the University of Leeds in 2004. She joined the practice in 2017. She has a particular interest in cardiology and in 2022 she completed a diploma in ENT (Ear Nose and Throat medicine). Dr Fearnley is one of the partners.

Doctors

DR AMY ELLIMAN

MB ChB, MRCGP

Dr Elliman qualified in 2010 from Leeds and joined the practice in October 2016. She has a special interest in Palliative Care.

DR SHEONA HARPER

MbChb, BSc, MRCGP

Dr Harper graduated from the University of Leeds in 2012. She worked across Yorkshire until joining the practice as a salaried GP in May 2021.

DR KIRSTY BALDWIN

MB BS, DRCOG, DFFP, PG Dip PG Education, FRCGP

Dr Baldwin graduated from Kings College, London in 1993. She trained to be a GP in Leeds and has been involved in GP Education for over 20 years and is the GP Trainer at Church View Surgery. Dr Baldwin interests in addition to education include contraception (including implants and coils ) and the menopause. She was a salaried GP at the practice previously and returned to work in the practice in November 2022.

DR DEBORAH SHRIMPTON

MBChB 1997, DRCOG, MRCGP

Dr Shrimpton is from the North East and qualified from Birmingham University in 1997. Having trained as a GP in Kent, she previously worked at this surgery before moving to and working in Suffolk. Returning to the area she is now working in the surgery as a salaried GP. She lives locally with her family and dogs.

Nurses

Our Nurses are Dawn (Nurse Manager and Respiratory Lead Nurse), Izzy (Diabetes Lead Nurse), Sheila, and Samantha who are supported by Donna our Nurse Associate and our Health Care Assistant Tracy. They provide general treatment room duties, chronic disease monitoring, phlebotomy services, health checks, travel advice and help to run the Long Term Condition clinic alongside the doctors.

Pharmacists

JANET MWALE

GPhC

Graduated from the University of Manchester in 2012. Experienced as a community pharmacist across West and North Yorkshire for 6 years. Joined Wetherby PCN in 2021. Developing clinical skills at Collingham as a primary care pharmacist.

Practice Management

JOANNE ROBINSON

Practice Manager

Joanne joined the practice in March 2024. Joanne has worked in various roles in General Practice since 2013 and has previously worked for Collingham Church View Surgery as Assistant Practice Manager.

KATE LAMB

Operations Manager

Kate joined the practice in February 2023 having worked in primary care for over 20 years

Primary Care Network (PCN) Staff

We are part of North Leeds PCN which is a group of five GP practices working together with other local organisations, such as community, mental health, social care, pharmacy, hospital and voluntary services to focus on local patient care.

ALEX GREAVES

HCPC

Alex qualified in 1998 from York St John University and came to work with the practice in October 2020. She has a wide range of experience working with adults in the community, palliative care and spinal disorders. As an Occupational Therapist, Alex works with people and their carers to improve quality of life, social engagement, reduce risk of falls and proactively manage their own health conditions.
