Ear irrigation [syringing] will no longer be available at Collingham Church view Surgery. Ear syringing is not considered to be the first line treatment for clearing wax. Unfortunately, it is not a funded service within the NHS for General Practice and we do not have the resource to undertake this work. Therefore, in line with many other surgeries nationwide, we made the difficult decision to withdraw ear syringing with effect from July 2020.
